An ultra-violent, sexually disturbed shocker, THE SADNESS sees a mysterious infection unshackle humanity’s basest, most vile impulses, and threaten the lives of two young lovers (Berant Zhu and Regina Lei) as they struggle to fight their way back to each other across a ravaged Taipei.
