IDW Publishing is set to release LOCKE & KEY: THE GOLDEN AGE in hardcover on April 26. A prelude to the popular dark fantasy series by author Joe Hill (The Fireman, Heart-Shaped Box, NOS4A2) and artist  Gabriel Rodriguez, this edition of THE GOLDEN AGE includes the short stories “Small World” and “Open the Moon,” as well as the complete three-part miniseries “…In Pale Battalions Go…” and the two-part crossover with The Sandman Universe, “Hell & Gone.” The collection will also feature the previously unpublished short story “Face the Music.” Created by Hill and Rodriguez for a sadly unrealized vinyl record project, “Face the Music” is a whimsical tale of the Locke family set in the early 1900s.
