It’s a wrap on Bram Stoker-based mummy thriller “HOUSE OF KA”; first photos released

It’s the latest of several films inspired by the author’s novel THE JEWEL OF SEVEN STARS.

Lonely Spectre Productions, Acorn Arts and Entertainment and Hippogryph Films have announced the completion of principal photography on HOUSE OF KA. This take on SEVEN STARS, previously adapted by BLOOD FROM THE MUMMY’S TOMB (1971), THE AWAKENING (1980) and BRAM STOKER’S LEGEND OF THE MUMMY (1998), was written and directed by Josie Eli Herman, produced by Brendan Haley and co-written and co-produced by Michael Alan Herman. Allison Megroet, Jeffrey Shawn Miller, Yesmeen Mikhail, Josie Eli Herman, Michael Alan Herman, Tim Pollack, Amanda Buchalter, Julia Garlotte, Jonathan Davidson, Matthew Cameron, Brittany Batell and Celah Convis star; the synopsis: After her father contracts a supernatural illness, a young aristocrat named Margaret Trelawny enlists the help of a gentleman lawyer to save her father’s life. Their investigation doesn’t go as planned when they realize that what they are hunting is already hunting them.”
