A trio of notorious Italian horror schlockers are making their U.S. Blu-ray debuts this summer, showcasing the work of Lucio Fulci, Bruno Mattei and Claudio Fragasso. Read on for the full info, all the art and a combo trailer!
Severin Films has set a May 29 street date for ZOMBIE 3, ZOMBIE 4: AFTER DEATH and SHOCKING DARK, each newly scanned in 2K and uncut. ZOMBIE 3 was begun by Fulci and completed by Mattei, ZOMBIE 4 was directed and written by the TROLL 2 team of Fragasso and Rossella Drudi respectively and SHOCKING DARK (an ALIENS/TERMINATOR knockoff) was helmed by Mattei and scripted by Fragasso and Drudi, and all three represent Italian exploitation at its nuttiest.
