Norwegian filmmaker Severin Eskeland has created a haunted-house short film that he hopes to turn into a feature, and the new international trailer is now on-line. Check it out after the jump.

Produced by Eskeland with Patrick Strøm and Sean Butler of Los Angeles’ Cul•ti•vate Entertainment, ALLODIUM is inspired by classic Gothic chillers and stars Brit Landa and legendary Norwegian actor Helge Jordal (ORION’S BELT). The synopsis: “After receiving news about her father’s suicide, Anna, 28, travels back home in search of answers. Sent away at the age of 10, never knowing why and without speaking to her father since, Anna will soon discover that sometimes the past is best left alone.”

“I just love when I can create a story centered around a house and keep the suspense and thrill within four walls,” Eskeland says. “When I get chills just being on set, then I know it’s time to roll the camera.”

Eskeland’s previous features include 2009’s SNARVEIEN (a.k.a. DETOUR), which screened at Screamfest, and 2017’s LYST (LUST), both of which have been distributed throughout Europe. You can watch trailers for both of those below as well.
