International thrillers and chillers are coming to Fantasia’s Frontières Market

This year’s Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal is hosting the 11th Frontières International Co-Production Market, showcasing a slew of genre features in the works. Read on for the full lineup!

The 20 projects listed below, all in advanced development and seeking backing, will be presented during Frontières, which takes place July 18-21. Previous films that got their start at Frontières markets in Montreal and Europe include Julia Ducournau’s RAW, Jenn Wexler’s THE RANGER, François Simard, Anouk Whissell and Yoann-Karl Whissell’s TURBO KID, Caroline Labrèche and Steeve Léonard’s RADIUS and several forthcoming films, like Lorcan Finnegan’s VIVARIUM and Jovanka Vuckovic’s RIOT GIRLS. This year’s slate is as follows:
