Sodom & Chimera Productions has revealed the teaser trailer for DAUGHTER OF DISMAY, the first narrative short to be shot in 70mm IMAX. The film tells the surreal tale of an emotionally scarred witch (Ieva Agnostic) who enters the darkness of the woods to fulfill her deepest desire, taking radical measures that portend sinister consequences…

This wicked trip through the world of occultism is directed by Austrian arthouse horror veteran James Quinn (FLESH OF THE VOID), produced by Justin Schenck (Fox’s THE EXORCIST television series), and boasts an impressive slate of behind-the-scenes collaborators, including composer Joseph Bishara (THE CONJURING, INSIDIOUS), Kodak award-winning director of photography Ben Brahem Ziryab (THE NEGATIVE), sound engineer Steve Maslow (THE THING, BEETLEJUICE), and foley artist Martin Langenbach (THE AUTOPSY OF JANE DOE, GOODNIGHT MOMMY).

DAUGHTER OF DISMAY is currently in post-production and is expected to hit film festivals in late 2019
