Synopsis: Driving home to her secluded estate after meeting at a local bar, a player out to score thinks his beautiful, mysterious date will be another casual hook-up. While getting acquainted, their flirtation turns playful, sexy, and sinister. Hoping to get lucky, his luck may have just run out.
Labute says of the film, “I definitely wanted to revisit the world of vampires with this film—having adapted the Stoker novel for the stage previously and having helped create the dark world of VAN HELSING on television—but I also wanted it to feel fresh: no fangs, no prosthetics, no garlic and missing reflections in mirrors.
