“HALLOWARRIOR” world premiere, with “HEREDITARY” star, joins Tribeca Festival’s Escape lineup

Two popular subgenres are combined in the movie starring Milly Shapiro.

The postapocalyptic/Halloween-themed HALLOWARRIOR is a new addition to the Escape showcase at the 2026 Tribeca Festival, which takes place in New York City June 3-14. It joins the lineup we first reported here; the details:

HALLOWARRIOR (United States) World Premiere. Pumpkin, a Halloween-obsessed postapocalypse survivor, thinks she’s the last person alive. But when a vicious band of scavengers shows up at her doorstep, Pumpkin has no choice but to tap into her deadliest survival instincts. Directed, written and produced by Ben Sottak. Produced by Emmajane Hoffman, Gabriel Rosenstein. Starring Milly Shapiro, Ajani Russell, AJ Bowen, Shannyn Sossamon.

The premiere screening takes place Wednesday, June 10 at 5 p.m. at The Village East by Angelika (181-189 2nd Avenue). For more info on the Escape offerings, head over to the Tribeca Festival website.
