Behold, Grey Matter Art’s first releases for the new year – a team up with Vice Press to release these FOUR LIMITED EDITION JOHN CARPENTER INSPIRED POSTERS BY MATT FERGUSON. These “cinema” 40 x 30 inch quad sized posters feature art for Carpenter’s The Fog, They Live, Escape from New York and Prince of Darkness. All quad art prints will be printed on 250gsm Vitesse Silk paper, signed and numbered by Matt Ferguson.
Ferguson, a graphic designer from the United Kingdom, is well known for his artwork for Marvel’s Avengers Blu-Ray collection and promotional posters. He is also the co-founder and creative director for Vice Press, who worked together with StudioCanal on bringing the four Carpenter titles to cinemas across the UK in 4k restorations.
From Thursday, January 10, for one week only (until January 17), collectors will be able to purchase of the “Cinema” quad posters. Each poster will retail for £50/ $60 USD or seize the day and buy all four at a discounted cost of £150/ $190 USD. Look for these to hit the Vice Press website at 5pm (United Kingdom time and at Grey Matter Art at 12pm EST), get them before they’re gone.
