We’ll be able to compare the redux of the domestic shocker with its predecessor (pictured above) next month.

Word has come down that the new version of GOODNIGHT MOMMY will debut on Prime Video September 16. Directed by Matt Sobel (BRAND NEW CHERRY FLAVOR) and scripted by Kyle Warren, based on Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala’s acclaimed 2014 film, it stars Naomi Watts, Cameron Crovetti, Nicholas Crovetti and Peter Hermann. The synopsis: “When twin brothers arrive home to find their mother’s demeanor altered and face covered in surgical bandages, they begin to suspect the woman beneath the gauze might not be their mother.”
