The best-selling novel THE BREAKDOWN by B.A. Paris is on its way to the screen under a new title.

Lionsgate has announced that BLACKWATER LANE will be released in select theaters and available on VOD and digital platforms June 21. Directed by Jeff Celentano (who began his career as an actor under the name “Jeff Weston,” in movies like PUPPET MASTER II and DEMONIC TOYS) and scripted by Elizabeth Fowler, it stars Minka Kelly, Maggie Grace, Dermot Mulroney, Natalie Simpson, Kris Johnson, Edward Baker-Duly and Pandora Clifford. The synopsis: “After witnessing a tragedy on a dangerous country road, Cass [Kelly] is visited by a ghostly presence and begins to question her sanity. As these otherworldly experiences intensify, Cass is driven closer to the brink until she begins to assemble the pieces of a horrific plot against her.”
