Full details, plus art: “GATE II” opens up on Scream Factory Blu-ray

The despicable minions of hell return in GATE II, the sequel to the supernatural horror hit that’s now coming from Shout! Factory as a Scream Factory Blu-ray. The complete specs have been revealed, and you can see ’em after the jump along with the cover art.

The GATE II Blu-ray arrives February 27, sporting a new 2K scan of the interpositive presented in 1.85:1 widescreen. Director Tibor Takacs, screenwriter Michael Nankin and star Louis Tripp reunited for the follow-up, as the now teenaged Terry discovers that the powers beyond the gate can make wishes come true, but also release terror onto our world. The special features are:

  • NEW “Return to the Nightmare—A Look Back at GATE II,” featuring interviews with director Tibor Takacs, screenwriter Michael Nankin and special visual effects creator Randall William Cook
