The writer of JENNIFER’S BODY now tells the story of a reanimated corpse.

Focus Features has announced that Kathryn Newton, who did such a great job playing Vince Vaughn in FREAKY, co-stars with Cole Sprouse (RIVERDALE) in LISA FRANKENSTEIN, set to roll this summer. Actress Zelda Williams makes her feature directorial debut on the movie, working from a script by Diablo Cody, whose credits include JENNIFER’S BODY and uncredited work on the EVIL DEAD remake. The synopsis: “Set in 1989, an unpopular high schooler accidentally re-animates a handsome Victorian corpse during a lightning storm and starts to rebuild him into the man of her dreams using the broken tanning bed in her garage.” We’ll bring you more on this one as we hear it!
