Revenge is a dish best served violently in the rural psychothriller that debuts next month.

Screen Media releases GIRL, which was an official selection of this year’s Fantastic Fest, to select theaters November 20 and VOD November 24. Written and directed by actor Chad Faust (who also co-stars) in his feature filmmaking debut, it additionally features Bella Thorne (the BABYSITTER films, ASSASSINATION NATION), Mickey Rourke, Glenn Gould, Lanette Ware and Elizabeth Saunders. The synopsis: “A young woman [Thorne] returns to her small hometown to exact revenge on her abusive father, only to discover someone murdered him the day before. As the girl searches for answers, she soon finds herself prey to a sinister sheriff [Rourke] and uncovers a family legacy more disturbing than she’d imagined.”
