First news, poster and exclusive comment: Horrible happenings in “SPRING LAKES”

The occult chiller is currently shooting in the UK.

Rocket Sky High Motion Pictures is behind SPRING LAKES, which is being directed by Ranjeet S. Marwa from his original script, based on a story by Marwa, Charmaine Binji and David Lamont. The cast is headed by James Bryhan (pictured), Rosalind Stockwell, Samantha Loxley, Lamont, Nisaro Karim, Warren Hicks and Oris Erhuero. The synopsis: “When Marcus [Bryhan], a down-and-out struggling filmmaker, goes on a search for his missing sister Shiela in Spring Lakes, he encounters strange and mysterious occurrences in the form of a satanic cult and other superstitious beliefs. Marcus must find his sister before he, too, becomes engulfed by the living forest and suffers the same fate as his sister. Lamont plays Father Gerald, a man of the cloth who believes Spring Lakes is only for the ‘enlightened’; Hicks appears as Marcus’ best friend and Erhuero as Marcus’ father.”

Speaking about the shoot, Marwa tells us, “It’s been cold and it’s been brutal, but it’s been so much fun. I’m excited to show the world what we have in store with this movie. I’ve worked on a few action movies over the last two years, but horror is home for me, so I’m really comfortable.”
