First info, clip and poster: A new home of horror in “VIVARIUM”

Director Lorcan Finnegan and screenwriter Garret Shanley previously collaborated on the excellent, underseen WITHOUT NAME (see review here), and now they’ve reteamed on VIVARIUM, world-premiering at the Cannes Film Festival. Read on for the details, initial poster and a clip from the movie.

VIVARIUM has its debut showing in Cannes’ Critics Week section this Friday, May 18. Imogen Poots (28 WEEKS LATER) and Jesse Eisenberg play Gemma and Tom, a couple seeking to purchase a starter home who are invited to visit a new housing development called Yonder. After they arrive, they discover they can’t leave—and strange and threatening things begin to happen. The cast also includes Molly McCann and Jonathan Aris; Fantastic Films’ Brendan McCarthy and John McDonnell (THE HALLOW, LET US PREY, CHERRY TREE) produced, and XYZ Films is handling sales. We’ll keep you updated on VIVARIUM’s progress.
