It’s a supernatural thriller from two of the companies behind BOY KILLS WORLD.

Variety reports that Steven Quale (pictured), who directed FINAL DESTINATION 5 and INTO THE STORM after helming the 2nd unit on James Cameron’s AVATAR and TITANIC, is piloting Capstone Studios and Hammerstone Studios’ BLACK BOX (FLIGHT 298). Rolling this month in Sofia, Bulgaria, it was scripted by Stephen Susco, whose numerous fright credits include THE GRUDGE, THE GRUDGE 2, RED and UNFRIENDED: DARK WEB. According to the trade, “the film follows the supernatural events surrounding Vero Airlines Flight 298 from New Orleans to Seattle.” Sounds like there may be some voodoo involved; we’ll let you know more about this one as we find it out!
