If you’re into short horror, the folks at ALTER have you covered.  Rue Morgue wants to make sure you’re up-to-date on all of the cool stuff they have coming up, so each month we’ll be highlighting their upcoming releases.  Take a look at what they have planned for February 2021:

Black Voices: A Celebration of Black History Month
This month ALTER & DUST are celebrating the voices of our black directors, in celebration of Black History Month. All month long they are highlighting our creators on socials, and have two special collections debuting on the DUST app.

In a self-assembly cabinet, bereaved parents find a monstrous substitute for their dead son.

Paranormal Solutions, Inc (February 5, episodes 1 and 2)

Paranormal Solutions Inc. is expanding. Armed with their new slogan, “We believe in EVERYTHING!”, six hapless but passionate, semi-successful ghost hunters attempt to grow their business and become real players in the supernatural game.

Ep 1: Werewolves Are Real!
The PSI team gets their first non-ghost call. The team heads to a local farm where an illegal worker has been mauled. It’s gruesome and more than they bargained for.

Ep 2: Exorcismed!
Sarah’s elderly family friend, Mr. Wooverfelt, calls on Sarah for help because Mrs. Wooverfelt has been acting strangely. Turns out Mrs. Wooverfelt is possessed by an evil Demon. The PSI team is faced with its first encounter from Hell.

The Lover (February 8)

With her engagement to Brad, Lisa thought she had finally found “the one”. Now, Brad has ended the relationship and Lisa is not sure if she can go on.

Dead Hearts (February 10)
Director: Stephen W. Martin
A young mortician learns that not even death can stand in the way of true love. A whimsical, gothic bedtime story filled with love, loss, taxidermy, Kung Fu, and biker werewolves.

Paranormal Solutions, Inc (February 12, episodes 3 and 4)

Ep 3: The Leprechaun of Mobile Alabama
Easily the stupidest case they’ve ever said yes to but they need the money. There’s no way that the horribly drawn Leprechaun from the viral YouTube video could actually exist, right?

Ep 4: Sasquatch Is Your BC Bud
After receiving several calls to debunk the Sasquatch video taken in Squamish, B.C. in early 2014, the team heads on expedition into the mountains.

I Who Have No One (February 15)
Director: Pierre Tsigaridis
After years of wanting to look like those who grace the covers of magazines Frances ends up making headlines in a different way…

The Night Bell (February 17)
Director: Alex Haney
A nurse’s new job at a morgue disintegrates into a nightmare as the female corpses come to life.

Ep 5: The Internet Killed the Video Store
The PSI team sets-up shop in a old abandoned video store on the edge of town known for it’s famous hauntings. They decide to spend the weekend there, with a more elaborate video set-up since Jared is pitching PSI as a reality TV show.

Ep 6: Only YOU Can Prevent Zombie Attacks
The team decides to take a break and go camping. Jared was hoping to rekindle the romance with Sarah on this trip, but once again, Dax is an unwelcome guest. Everything is sidelined by an impending zombie apocalypse.

Chromophobia (February 22)

In a blasted, post-apocalyptic wasteland two women try to survive a future where the very colours which surround them have become corrupted by something alien, infectious… And deadly.

The Lonely Host (February 24)

After arriving at her BnB, Silvia quickly learns that her offbeat host isn’t quite as harmless as she seems.

Ep 7: Happy Endings & New Beginnings
Sarah’s regularly scheduled Paranormal Trauma Support group meeting is interrupted by Detective Watts and Snider. The sting is then promptly interrupted by a series of tentacles.

Ep 8: Not All Abductions are the Good Kind
Darryn is angry after learning from Jared in that his whole family has been abducted by aliens (except for him). Darryn sets out alone to a recent alien sighting location in order to fulfill his lifelong dream of being abducted.
