The indie creaturefest will also play a couple more festivals before its general release.
Filmmaker Chad Ferrin gave us the word that his movie THE OLD ONES, based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft (which we last reported on here), will debut on streaming platforms March 19 from Breaking Glass Pictures, and be available on physical media in April. Before then, it will screen on February 29 at the UK’s Romford Horror International Film Festival, and March 1 at A Night of Horror International Film Festival in Wisconsin.
THE OLD ONES stars Robert Miano, Benjamin Philip, Kelli Maroney, Timothy Muskatell, Jerry Irons, Cyril O’Reilly, Brandon Kirk, Jon Budinoff, Kurt Bonzell, Elli Rahn and Silvia Spross; Joe Castro created the makeup effects. The synopsis: “In 1930, sea captain Russel Marsh saw the light, and for 93 years his body was not his own. Inhabited by a Great Old One, he committed unspeakable acts in the name of the Esoteric Order of Dagon. Now free, he is in search of a way to go back in time to reverse the horrors wrought upon the world. But the cult has other plans, and will stop at nothing to destroy him.”
