Hailing from Russia, A ROUGH DRAFT is a sci-fi thriller/mindbender that sees U.S release next month, and we’ve got the exclusive first look at the visually striking trailer and the poster art.
Coming to DVD and digital platforms January 14 from High Octane Pictures, A ROUGH DRAFT was written by Sergei Lukyanenko, whose novel NIGHT WATCH was turned into a pair of internationally successful films (the second was DAY WATCH) by director Timur Bekmambetov. Sergey Mokritskiy directed, and the cast is headed by Nikita Volkov, Yulia Peresild and Yevgeny Tsyganov. According to the official synopsis, “A ROUGH DRAFT is set in and around the concept of open world video gaming, following a man without an identity nor memories who plays middle-man to corresponding worlds. Kirill’s identity has been eliminated. Erased from the memories of everyone around him, Kirill will be forced to serve as the gatekeeper of a portal that connects parallel worlds.”
The DVD will present the movie with English, French and the original Russian soundtracks, while the digital release will be dubbed in English and offered in the original language with subtitles where available.
