This one looks pretty tense, and it’s seeing its festival premiere and general release in the Great White North later this month.

PINS AND NEEDLES, written and directed by Toronto-based filmmaker James Villeneuve (who previously scripted VICIOUS FUN), will have its world premiere November 22 at the city’s Blood In the Snow Film Festival, followed by a release across Canada exclusively on Super Channel November 29. Chelsea Clark (SCARED SHITLESS), Ryan McDonald, Kate Corbett, Daniel Gravelle and Damian Romeo star; according to the official synopsis, the movie “follows Max [Clark], a diabetic biology grad student who is entrapped in a devilish new-age wellness experiment and must escape a lethal game of cat and mouse to avoid becoming the next test subject to extend the lives of the rich and privileged.”
