An aquatic humanoid who’s a lot less friendly than the one in THE SHAPE OF WATER is featured in SOFT MATTER, coming later this year. We’ve got an exclusive first look at the trailer.

SOFT MATTER, the feature writing/directing debut of Jim Hickcox, was just acquired by Wild Eye Releasing. Ruby Lee Dove II, Hal Schneider, Mary Anzalone, Devyn Placide and Mark Blumberg star. According to the official synopsis, the movie “tells of two graffiti artists who break into an abandoned, reportedly haunted research facility in hopes of creating an art installation, but stumble upon a team of demented researchers who are in the process of resurrecting an ancient sea creature—who they now must fight in order to not become their next experiment.”
