The winner of six Best Feature awards on the festival circuit since its debut at Shriekfest last October, ECHOES OF FEAR is now slated for wider release this fall. Read on for the exclusive details, new poster and a couple of pics.

The latest genre film from the husband-and-wife team of Brian and Laurence Avenet-Bradley (they produced and directed, Brian scripted and Laurence was cinematographer; their previous movies include MALIGNANT, DARK REMAINS and GHOST OF THE NEEDLE), ECHOES OF FEAR has been picked up by Artist Rights Distribution. Theatrical release will take place this October, followed by a VOD debut in November. According to the official synopsis, “ECHOES OF FEAR tells the story of Alysa [Trista Robinson of PURGATORY ROAD and THE HUMAN RACE], a college student who has just inherited her grandfather’s house and must confront the mystery of his sudden death and the evil that hides inside.” The cast also inclues Hannah Race, Marshal Hilton, Paul Chirico and Elif Savas.

“Over the last year, the festival audience response has been fantastic,” Brian Avenet-Bradley says. “There’s nothing better than watching the film in a dark theater and hearing horror fans scream and gasp. That’s why we’re excited to be with Patrick at Artist Rights for the North American release.” Says Artist Rights CEO Patrick DiCesare, “I saw ECHOES OF FEAR screen at the Shriekfest film festival to a sold-out audience who loved the film. The Avenet-Bradleys have a created a legitimately frightening supernatural horror film with a lot of clever twists and turns that’s better than the majority of mainstream big-studio horror.” We’ll have further coverage of ECHOES OF FEAR as it nears release; you can also check out the movie’s official website and Facebook page.
