It’s the new chiller from Australian filmmaker Ursula Dabrowsky.

Terror Films Releasing has announced its acquisition of worldwide rights to THE DEVIL’S WORK, and gave us the first look at the poster. The distributor, which previously released Dabrowsky’s 2016 INNER DEMON, also let us know the movie will premiere on the Official TFR YouTube AVOD Channel May 10 at 7 p.m. PST, with the filmmaker and cast participating in a live chat with the fans, followed by a wide digital release on May 24. Written and directed by Dabrowsky, it stars Cassandra Kane, Mark Fantasia, Luca Sardelis and Kerry Reid. The synopsis: “Charlie [Kane] and Dustin’s [Fantasia] idyllic weekend getaway at their friend’s serene countryside home takes a terrifying turn when a blood-spattered woman [Sardelis] suddenly appears, stalking them with relentless determination. As this mysterious woman’s sinister mind games escalate, Charlie is horrified to discover that the stalker is none other than her own sister, Lindy. Lindy’s behavior becomes increasingly erratic and violent, and when Dustin attempts to confront her, the situation spirals into danger. The shocking truth behind Lindy’s intentions slowly emerges, forcing Charlie into a desperate struggle for survival against someone she once loved.”

“THE DEVIL’S WORK is inspired by films such as BIRDMAN and THE SILENT HOUSE,” Dabrowsky says, “films that have been made using a production methodology whereby you are shooting in long takes and the idea is to give the illusion that the film has actually been shot in real time. You feel really immersed in the main character’s experience on screen. We are very aware that there are fans out there who are waiting for my next film. I’m very confident we will not disappoint any of them with THE DEVIL’S WORK.”
