If you thought TED would have been better if the titular teddy had a lust for murder, this is the movie for you.
The British horror/comedy BENNY LOVES YOU looks like lots of sick fun, and will have its UK premiere as part of the virtual 2020 Arrow Video FrightFest in August. Karl Holt wrote and directed the movie, and also stars alongside Claire Cartwright, George Collie, James Parsons, Anthony Styles and Darren Benedict. The synopsis: “After the accidental death of his parents, Jack [Holt] must sell his family home and start a new life. But when he throws out his beloved childhood toy, Benny, it’s a move that can only end in death.”
