Exclusive photos, plus release info: British evil-clown movie “HELLOWEEN”

The All Hallow’s horrors begin a little early this year in the latest from the creator of LESBIAN VAMPIRE KILLERS.

RUE MORGUE got ahold of the exclusive pics seen below from HELLOWEEN, with the news that the Shogun Films production has closed a number of distribution deals. Vertical has picked up the UK flick for U.S. release in select theaters and on digital platforms September 5, while Miracle Media will issue it in its home country on digital and on Blu-ray September 29 on its 101 Films label. Sales have also been made to Germany, Australia, Poland, Russia and Latin America, with details and a trailer to be revealed soon. Written and directed by Phil Claydon and produced by Shogun’s Jonathan Sothcott, it stars Ronan Summers, Jeanine Nerissa Sothcott and Michael Paré. The synopsis: “HELLOWEEN centers on charismatic serial killer Carl Cane’s [Summers] attempt to use the 2016 ‘killer clown’ craze as a front for an anarchistic uprising, from his cell in the Moreton Downs psychiatric hospital. Only his doctor, Ellen Marks [Sothcott], and investigative journalist John Parker [Paré] can see what is happening and after Cane escapes and begins a new murderous rampage face a race against time to avoid an all-out bloodbath on Halloween.”
