Originally announced as a series titled JOURNAL OF THE HOMUNCULUS–A SEGMENT OF JONAH, the project is now being reconfigured as a group of stand-alone films.

Fright favorite Debbie Rochon (2nd photo below) gave us the word about SEGMENTS OF JONAH, in which she co-stars with fellow horror vet Lynn Lowry (3rd photo). It was written and directed by Tommy Graef (4th photo with Lowry), who also has one of the lead roles. “It’s the first film Lynn and I have done together since MODEL HUNGER!” Rochon tells us. “We’ve finished shooting the bulk of the movie, with a few pickup days currently slated for the end of December.”

The synopsis of SEGMENTS OF JONAH: “Within the limbless torso of what was once a man, the secret desires of three people are hidden away. Awakened from a 40-year coma, the man-creature is the subject of an intense interrogation by a broken and desperate Dr. Jonah Soelle [Graef]. But more than simple answers are sought by Nurse Michaela [Lowry], who seeks freedom from her past, while Nurse Ursula [Rochon] brutally hunts the creature’s newly birthed offspring that are destined to destroy more lives. The mysterious Dr. Emmanuel sends the three on unfamiliar treks in which they have no clue what lies ahead; unexplainable events are happening at the edge of a bizarre and otherworldly zone, where time and memories warp. Will any of them find the lifesaving answers they need before the creature escapes and takes refuge in the zone?”
