Exclusive photos, composer signed for slasher film “THE LAST SLEEPOVER”

A veteran of the TERRIFIER franchise is making the music for the forthcoming update of classic masked-killer tropes.

Producer P.J. Starks sent along the pics seen above and below from THE LAST SLEEPOVER, which we first told you about here. Directed by Gregory W. Brock from a script he wrote with Austin J. Rutherford, it stars Felissa Rose (2nd photo below), Spooky Madison (3rd photo), Ashe Parker, Anne-Marie Olsen, Audri Curtsinger, Jason Crowe, Holly Anspaugh (4th photo), Brittany Brizzee, Melissa O. Bowen and T.J. Moreschi. The synopsis: “A group of former high school friends reunite on the night of their 20th-year class reunion. Once part of an elite clique called ‘The Pastels,’ they harbor a dark secret–years ago, they tormented a less fortunate girl in a cruel prank that ended in tragedy. After the reunion, they continue the night at an Airbnb for one last sleepover, but the celebration quickly turns into a nightmare. A masked killer begins hunting them down one by one, seeking revenge for the sins of their past.”

Scarlett, the villain seen in the 1st photo below, “doesn’t just appear on screen—she haunts it,” Brock tells RUE MORGUE. “Her hypnotic presence, chilling movements and unforgettable look create a character that lingers long after the lights go up. Brought to life by a cast whose talent and chemistry far exceed anything we imagined during the writing process; every performance pulses with intensity and authenticity. The crew’s passion and commitment elevated every frame, working hand in hand with the cast to breathe life into this story. What we’ve created together isn’t just a film–it’s an experience carved from trust, heart, and pure creative fire.”

Now part of the team is composer Paul Wiley (bottom photo), whose credits include all three of the TERRIFIER movies. “We’re thrilled to officially announce that Paul has signed on to score THE LAST SLEEPOVER. This marks our third collaboration with him, and each time, he brings a level of emotion, atmosphere and tension that transforms the film from the inside out. His work doesn’t just support the story–it elevates it. Paul has an uncanny ability to find the soul of a scene and amplify it through sound. We’re incredibly lucky to have him back on board for this journey!”
