Are you a fan of obscure horror movie references, old school game shows, and drag? Then you’ll love the family of miscreants that is the Diet Ghosts. Made up of Lucinda Miu, Kitty Creature, Aura Nova, and Lady Kunterpunt, the Diet Ghosts have been haunting Toronto’s west end with their over-the-top drag shows since 2017. Each show is built around a unique storyline and backed by extravagant sound designs, costumes, personalities, and so much more. To celebrate Pride month and the release of our first ever Queer Fear issue (#189), Rue Morgue will be teaming up with the Diet Ghosts to present Who Wants to Raise the Dead? on June 28th at The Beaver nightclub. In anticipation of the event, Rue Morgue wanted to introduce our readers to the ghouls behind the Diet Ghosts.
