Exclusive covers/info: The “MANIAC COP” novelizations are coming in May

You have the right to remain silent as you read adaptations of the William Lustig/Larry Cohen trilogy.

Echo On Publications gave us an exclusive first look at the covers and the release info for its upcoming novelizations of MANIAC COP, MANIAC COP 2 and MANIAC COP 3. Written by Christian Francis, who has previously brought WISHMASTER, SESSION 9 and others to the printed page, “these books tell the terrifying story of Matthew Cordell, the Maniac Cop, with deleted and expanded scenes and even more chilling moments,” according to the publisher. In addition, “MANIAC COP 3 is not based on the released film but on Larry Cohen’s original unproduced screenplay, finally bringing to life the version that was meant to be.”

The trilogy will be available May 20 as individual paperbacks and e-books, and in a special hardcover collection, at the Echo On website and other traditional and on-line bookstores. They will follow Echo On’s novelization of THE FIRST POWER, releasing April 20; after that come adaptations of THE GATE, STRANGELAND, 3615 CODE SANTA CLAUS (a.k.a. DEADLY GAMES) and others.
