The latest project from Horror Dadz Productions, with Gray Sky Pictures and Echo Cell Productions co-producing, is NO WITNESSES, a found-footage chiller set to roll in July. Joshua Brucker will direct a cast headed by Berkeley Slightom and Otis B. Dreds; the synopsis: “The film sets out to depict the days leading up to the disappearance of Hannah Jones [Slightom], a young woman looking for a fresh start at life in rural Illinois, and the strange and terrifying happenings and events she encounters.”

“As a family man,” Brucker tells RUE MORGUE, “maintaining a safe and controlled household is something that’s a top priority of mine. NO WITNESSES is a film that really focuses on upending that feeling of safety we have in our home, forcing the viewer to really question that. Imagine you’re relaxing in your home, you’ve locked the doors for the night, but is it really safe? What if someone—or something—is waiting for you around the corner of a doorway, maybe in the corner of your dark room? This film really finds its birth in the anxieties I live with every day as a father and provider.”
