Video games really can warp your mind in SEQUENCE BREAK, the horror film written and directed by busy genre actor Graham Skipper (BEYOND THE GATES, THE MIND’S EYE, RE-ANIMATOR: THE MUSICAL) that debuts this week on Shudder. Check out an exclusive excerpt after the jump.

Shudder begins exclusively streaming SEQUENCE BREAK this Thursday, May 24. The cast is headed by Chase Williamson (JOHN DIES AT THE END, THE GUEST), Fabianne Therese (SOUTHBOUND), Lyle Kanouse and Audrey Wasilewski, and the makeup effects were created by Josh and Sierra Russell. The synopsis: “A reclusive video arcade repairman [Williamson] experiences bizarre biomechanical mutations and Cronenbergian hallucinations when a mysterious new arcade machine appears in his shop. Reality itself threatens to fracture as the young man works to solve its mystery—and overcome the new chaos that has entered his life.”
