Night terrors lead to grisly sights during waking hours in the film debuting this week.
PARASOMNIA begins streaming exclusively on Shudder this Friday, September 4. New Yorkers can catch a theatrical screening tomorrow, September 2 at 7:30 p.m. at Manhattan’s IFC Center as part of the “Shudder Showcase.” James Ross II wrote and directed, and the cast is headed by Jasmine Mathews, RJ Brown, Sally Stewart, Stephen Barrington, Danny Brown and Simon Longnight. The synopsis: “PARASOMNIA follows Riley, a young woman tormented by night terrors and a past of unresolved tragedy. When her best friend is the latest to go missing, she begins to suspect the demonic figure lurking in her sleep has crossed over into the real world.”
