Gothic romance becomes Gothic horror in the latest horrific variation on a literary classic.
WUTHERING HEIGHTS: THE HOUSE OF THE DAMNED is now available on VOD and digital platforms from Saban Films. Based on Emily Brontë’s timeless novel, it was directed by Rebecca J. Matthews and scripted by Liana Failla. Ross Townsend-Green, Sky Cheema, Elle O’Hara and Nicola Wright star; the synopsis: “Mr. Lockwood [Townsend-Green] arrives at the remote and storm-battered Wuthering Heights, unaware that Catherine’s [O’Hara] vengeful ghost walks its halls. Her obsessed lover, Heathcliff [Cheema], feeds her blood lust with human sacrifice, hoping to give her soul a new body to inhabit. As Lockwood grows sick and delusional, he is drawn deeper into their deadly, undying love, and must escape before he becomes their next victim.”
