Exclusive clip: Big bug loves beer and blood in “IT CAME FROM THE DESERT”

The cult-fave 1980s video game comes to life in IT CAME FROM THE DESERT, about giant ants with huge appetites. It sees release next week, and we’ve got an exclusive clip to share with you.

The Orchard brings IT CAME FROM THE DESERT to VOD and digital platforms next Tuesday, May 29. Directed by Marko Mäkilaakso from a script he wrote with Trent Haaga (CHEAP THRILLS) and Hank Woon Jr., it stars Vanessa Grasse, Mark Arnold, Harry Lister Smith, Claudia Trujillo and Alex Mills. According to the official synopsis, it’s “a pulpy monster movie…featuring rival motocross heroes and heroines, kegger parties in the desert, secret underground military bases…and of course giant ants!” You can pre-order the movie on iTunes here.
