Joe Lo Truglio, best known for his comedic turns in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Reno 911! and the cult favorite sketch show The State, trades laughs for screams in his feature directorial debut, OUTPOST.
Lo Truglio’s real-life wife, Beth Dover (Orange is the New Black), stars as Kate, a woman suffering from PTSD after surviving a violent assault. Seeking the solace of nature, Kate volunteers as a fire lookout at a remote station in the mountains of northern Idaho. However, her peace is shattered by suspicious locals and unforeseen danger. Finding herself locked in a life-or-death struggle, it’s up to Kate to save herself and the town.
In this exclusive clip, Kate’s paranoia begins to get the best of her.
OUTPOST from What’s That Noise Films and Gravitas Ventures premieres in theaters and on demand May 19.
