Exclusive clip: Auto asphyxiation, not so erotic, in “KING CAR”

The vehicle for vehicular thrills begins its U.S. theatrical release today.

Dark Star Pictures is distributing the Brazilian KING CAR, directed by Renata Pinheiro from a script by Pinheiro, Sergio Oliveira and Leo Pyrata. Luciano Pedro Jr., Jules Elting, Clara Pinheiro, Adelio Lima, Ane Olivia, Tavinho Teixeira and Matheus Nachtergaele star; the synopsis: “A young man’s ability to surreally speak with cars sparks a revolution that could save his community. When his invention inadvertently accelerates the underlying problems, our hero’s quest puts him in a fight for survival with capitalism’s zombies.”
