Gravitas Ventures releases MONOCHROME on VOD and DVD June 6. Written and directed by Thomas Lawes, it stars Jo Woodcock, Cosmo Jarvis, Patrice Naiambana, Lee Boardman, Steve Jackson, Liz May Brice and GAME OF THRONES’ James Cosmo. According to the official synopsis, the movie is about “Emma [Woodcock], a disillusioned young woman who flees to the countryside after her boyfriend is arrested for hiding millions of pounds of stolen pension funds. By persuading wealthy landowners to shelter her in return for casual work, Emma soon becomes a victim of domestic servitude. Her only escape is by taking increasingly brutal revenge on her cruel masters, soon making her the most wanted serial killer in the country. But by rejecting money and modern technology, Emma effectively goes ‘off grid,’ rendering her almost undetectable to the conventional police. In response, the newly formed National Crime Agency hires Gabriel [Jarvis], a brilliant detective with the unusual neurological condition of synesthesia to hunt her down.”
