Exclusive character posters: The freaky fairy-tale denizens of “EVER AFTER”

A whole bunch of fearsome childhood icons stalk through the movie opening this week.

Level 33 Entertainment releases EVER AFTER exclusively to theaters this Friday, September 4, followed by a VOD debut October 27. Fans are also invited to attend the movies U.S. premiere this Wednesday, September 2 at Los Angeles’ Harmony Gold Theater on Sunset Boulevard, with the screening beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a special Q&A. Directed by Laszlo Illes from a script he wrote with László Krisztián Gera, EVER AFTER stars Maria De Sa, Lydia Pearl Pentz, Meg Vermette, Philippe Reinhardt, Lara Sas, Miklos Bela Szekely, Riana Emma Balla, Mark Sheppard and genre veterans Bonnie Aarons, Michael Berryman, Kane Hodder and Malcolm McDowell. The synopsis: “When a group of girlfriends head to a remote forest lodge for a bachelorette party, the fun quickly turns into terror as they discover the forest is home to bloodthirsty lunatics who perceive themselves to be characters from classic fairy tales. As the lines between fantasy and reality blur, survival becomes the girls’ only goal.”
