We last reported here about THE DEEP ONES, an H.P. Lovecraft-derived occult chiller, and now we have the exclusive first look at the latest, eerie poster and some old-fashioned lobby cards.

Written and directed by Chad Ferrin, THE DEEP ONES stars Johann Urb, Gina La Piana, Robert Miano, Silvia Spross, Tim Muskatell, Hengi Hawk, Jackie Debatin, Nicolas Coster, Rachel Pringle, Jerry Irons, Robert Rhine, Jon Mack, Bulet Rush, Michael Schefano, Richard Pate, Kelli Maroney (NIGHT OF THE COMET) and Kurt Carley (the UNDERWORLD films) as Dagon, with makeup effects by Jim Ojala (DEADGIRL, STRANGE NATURE). The synopsis: “After suffering the loss of a child, American expat Alex [Piana] and her husband Petri [Urb] decide to take a much-needed holiday. Once they’ve touched down in the seaside city of Oxnard, they are spirited to a gorgeous beachfront bed and breakfast where they are welcomed by the charming if enigmatic Russell Marsh [Miano]. What begins as an alluring vacation from their problems soon devolves into a series of bizarre occurrences when the peculiar locals begin to show their true colors. While Alex struggles to keep a grip on her sanity, Petri finds himself increasingly drawn to the mysterious Mr. Marsh and his cabal of scantily clad companions. An archaic evil has been summoned from the shores of this quiet crabbing community, one that has designs on Alex. As she is sucked into a maelstrom of murder, mind control and maternal horror, she will have to confront the abyss head on or lose everything she holds dear.”
