Exclusive art/details: Horror/comedy with a “CANNIBAL COP” coming to Blu-ray

A couple of veterans of the EVIL DEAD series are part of the indie horror/comedy DICK JOHNSON & TOMMYGUN VS. THE CANNIBAL COP, which just debuted on VOD and is headed to Blu-ray next month. We’ve got an exclusive first look at the cover and the details.

Camp Motion Pictures releases the DJ & TB Blu-ray October 9. Directed by John Renna (who also scripted) and Chris Rados and shot in Buffalo, NY, it stars Renna, Sam Qualiana (director of SNOW SHARK), Dan Hicks (EVIL DEAD II), Timothy Patrick Quill (ARMY OF DARKNESS) and horror fave Debbie Rochon. The synopsis: “Terror grips a small town in upstate New York as a serial killer targeting young women stalks the streets. Under growing media pressure, Captain Phil Phillips [Hicks] assigns two mismatched homicide detectives to the case—meticulous by-the-book rookie Dick Johnson [Qualiana] and slovenly renegade Jeff Tommygun [Johnny Gruesome]. With little to go on but an escalating body count and a devious informer, Dick and Jeff must stop a mad man and his crazed cult from killing and devouring over 100 women…before they kill each other.”

The Blu-ray includes audio commentary by Renna and Qualiana, and retails for $19.99.
