“EVIL BOY” is on his worst behavior this fall; trailer and art

A rotten kid is coming from Russia to terrify grown-up North American viewers.

Well Go USA has announced a September 8 digital and DVD debut for EVIL BOY, which had its international premiere at the 2019 Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival. The first feature by director Olga Gorodetskaya, it stars Elena Lyadova, Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Sevastian Bugaev, Evgeniy Tsyganov, Anna Ukolova, Konstantin Topolaga and Roza Khayrullina. The synopsis: “Several years after their son’s disappearance, a grieving couple adopts a feral boy, who begins to eerily resembles their child more with each passing day. While the mother believes they have found their son, her husband is certain that he died. As strange accidents begin happening around the boy, the pair soon wonders whether they’ve adopted something not entirely…human.” This release features an all-new English dub, in addition to the original subtitled soundtrack.
