Ethan Embry confronts a real animal in “ALMA & THE WOLF”; trailer, poster & release date

The new lycanthropicture is set to howl next month.

Republic Pictures has announced its release of ALMA & THE WOLF in select theaters and on digital platforms June 20. Winner of the Audience Choice Award: Best of Fest Feature at this year’s Boston Underground Film Festival, it was directed by Michael Patrick Jann from a script by Abigail Miller, and stars Ethan Embry (THE DEVIL’S CANDY, LATE PHASES), Li Jun Li, Jeremie Harris, Lukas Jann, Beth Malone, Kevin Allison, Alexandra Doke and Mather Zickel. The synopsis: “After a violent animal attack, paranoia spreads through Spiral Creek. But when Deputy Ren Accord [Embry] gets too close, his son vanishes, and reality begins to fracture.”
