It’s a period entry in the revenge-of-the-electrocuted-killer genre.

101 Films and Trinity Creative Partnership will release the Irish chiller THE GATES June 27 on U.S. and Canada VOD and digital platforms. Directed by Stephen Hall from a script by Hall and Tim Reynolds, it stars John Rhys-Davies, Richard Brake (BARBARIAN), Michael Yare, Elena Delia, David Pearse and Peter Coonan. The synopsis: “A serial killer has been sentenced to death by electric chair in London in the 1890s, but in his final hours, he puts a curse on the prison he is in, and all of those in it.”
