There’s a killer–or maybe more than one–on the road in this violent revenge flick that homages the thrillers of the 1980s.

Uncork’d Entertainment releases ROADKILL to theaters in New York, Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago and Minneapolis along with digital platforms January 5. Written and directed by the aptly named Warren Fast, it stars Caitlin Carmichael, Ryan Knudson, fright fave Danielle Harris, Fast and Trenton Hudson. The synopsis: “Lost while traveling through a rural county in 1983, a young woman crosses paths with a hitchhiker headed the same destination and offers a ride in exchange for directions. Their journey takes a violent turn when the two are caught up in a police manhunt for a fugitive killer. As victims begin to amass and authorities close in, it becomes a fight for survival on the open road.”
