Coming this Thursday (Oct. 29) to the Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco is the horror-art show “Draw Me Like One Of Your FINAL GIRLS,” featuring the art of 60 female artists including Rue Morgue’s own Fright Gallery columnist, Paige Reynolds. “Girls may be made of sugar and spice and everything nice, but our FINAL GIRLS collection is gory and gruesome and everything witchy. Ranging from devilish ceramics and paintings of blood-soaked beasts, to nostalgic horror film posters and ominous masks draped with real human hair, this collection is anything but sweet” (Spoke Art).

Due to COVID safety measures, FINAL GIRLS will only be viewable in-person by appointment, however, all of the artworks will be available for purchase through the Spoke Art webstore. Additionally, interested parties who cannot attend the Halloween art show can join the FINAL GIRLS team on the gallery’s Instagram Livestream for a live Q&A and walkthrough of the show (Halloween day at 2 pm Pacific). In the words of co-curator Liz Reed (Cuddles & Rage): “This show is full of strong women and strong images, celebrating horror not only as a genre but a voice for some of our most intimate thoughts.” See featured artists and image credits below.
