Don’t Miss Out On Shudder’s Horror Panels For “COMIC-CON@HOME” 2020

If you, like me, had plans to attend a Comic-Con event this year that was tragically cancelled like so many others, never fear. While you might have to wait until 2021 to break out your cosplay fit, you will fortunately still be able to attend panels featuring your favorite horror filmmakers and content creators from the comfort of your own home. This year, with the help of horror streaming service Shudder, Comic-Con@Home will be featuring two horror focused panels highlighting some of the strongest voices in the horror genre today.

Running from July 22-26, Comic-Con@Home’s horror offerings include the panels HORROR IS QUEER and SCARY GOOD TV (dates, times, and links listed below). On the HORROR IS QUEER panel, hear from the likes of Hannibal’s Bryan Fuller and Nay Bever of Attack of the Queerwolf podcast, as they discuss the long history of queer themes and representation within the horror genre. Additionally present will be the director of an upcoming Shudder documentary on LGBT+ horror history, Sam Wineman.

On SCARY GOOD TV, watch conversation between some of horror television’s top showrunners, as they discuss the rise in popularity of televised horror content, and how the production of an effective horror series differs from traditional filmmaking. Present at this panel will be Nick Antosca of Chanel Zero and Gref Nicotero of Creepshow (both available on Shudder), as well as the Horror Noire doc’s executive producer Tananarive Due serving as moderator.

Join Shudder and Comic-Con@Home later this month to gain insights from these two panels of current horror authorities to learn more about SCARY GOOD TV and how HORROR IS QUEER.
