Demo for survival-horror immersive sim “GLOOMWOOD” slinks onto Steam

The much-awaited demo for developer Dillon Rogers and DUSK creator David Szymanski‘s upcoming stealth horror title GLOOMWOOD is available now courtesy of retro-FPS powerhouse New Blood Interactive.

Set in a mysterious city consumed by an ancient curse, the game flaunts a THIEF series-inspired aesthetic where the safest place of all is in the shadows of its looming Victorian architecture.

Players have free rein in a detailed gothic environment, with classic stealth game mechanics such as peeking around corners and throwing items to distract foes.

With an arsenal of weapons including a canesword, revolver, shotgun, rope-slinging harpoon rifle and more, there’s multiple ways to dish out death to your enemies and to navigate the atmospheric city itself.
