Death By Toys Releases Exclusive “Straight Edge Kegger” Figures

Death By Toys, art toy proprietor of inventive and genius retro-styled figures, takes the classic 3.75-inch figures of yesterday and updates it with today’s pop culture. Now Death By Toys has teamed up with Jason Zink of Weird On Top Pictures to create a toy line for the upcoming feature film ‘Straight Edge Kegger’.

The STRAIGHT EDGE KEGGER TOYS will feature 20 hand-cast, hand painted bloody kegs and 10 hand-cast, hand painted pig-masked killers named Manners. Each hand packaged figure will come firmly attached to a custom cardback featuring the artwork of Marc Schoenbach of Sadist Art Designs. This whole project has top quality written all over it.

Said to be inspired by a mixture of the punk rock scene and grindhouse films and of course a dash of horror, the plot goes something like this: a young punk and a houseful of drunks square off against the group of militant straight edgers that he has abandoned.

The film is starting to make the festival rounds and can be viewed in person at the PDXtreme Fest next month in Portland.  Keep an eye on the Straight Edge Kegger Facebook page for upcoming screenings and more release information, and of course, check out the Death By Toys website for all new announcements and releases.

Price: Each individual figure is priced at $45 USD (plus shipping)
The Straight Edge Kegger toys will be available starting this Friday, December 14 at 4:00 pm (CST)
